This Italian leather day bed is inspired by the original day bed designed for the apartment of Philip Johnson in New York, and first publicly exhibited in 1929 at the Berlin Exhibition. Our Mies Day Bed is a high quality reproduction piece of reception furniture. Each square of Italian leather is hand selected, piped, tufted and individually sewn by expert leather craftsmen. The Barcelona Day Bed is available in a range of leather colours including black, brown, white, red and cream. The construction of this piece of reception furniture is of the highest level craftmanship; the cushion is suspended upon a network of leather saddle straps that are fixed to a solid hardwood frame. Polished high grade stainless steel legs add to the timeless modern furniture design. The Mies van Der Rohe "Barcelona" Day Bed is an ideal addition to your office environment when used as corporate or reception furniture.
